As a Nationally Certified Health and Wellness coach along with a certification in Women’s Health education, I strive to help you take the small steps you need to be well, yet manage the day to day struggles.
What I want to help you with
I want to come beside you to encourage you to find ways to be healthy and make the changes you want to make on your journey.
I love working with women to help them be their best selves. I blog about areas that are close to my heart and I know will be to yours as well. I will also be offering courses to encourage you to be your best by filling your cup so you can be who you were meant to be.
I love journeying with women, helping to inspire them to achieve being well, and filling their cup to enable them to care for others.
A little about me
I am momma to many kiddos. Some not so young anymore and some still young. I have worked full-time outside of the home before kiddos and after having some of my kiddos. I have been a stay at home momma for a few years before embarking on a new career in Health and Wellness coaching. I am exploring life as a single parent, working from home while getting everyone where they need to be.
I graduated from Alderson-Broaddus College with a Bachelor in Science in Medical Science in 1985. I passed my National Certification to be a Physician Assistant later that fall. I worked in Columbus, OH for 4 years before going into the Air Force at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina. I was the Health Promotions officer on base for approximately 25,000 members and their families.
I chose to leave the Air Force and work as a civilian at Camp LeJeune and Cherry Point hospitals, and then in Rocky Mount, NC for the same company. My family grew so it was time to take a sabbatical from being a PA to pursue caring for my children and educational endeavors. In 2012, I discovered Health and Wellness Coaching. I took the Wellcoaches course and was certified in 2014, then Nationally Certified in 2017. I have also completed a Women’s Wellness Educator Certification through WellGrounded Life Institute by Lisa Grace Byrne.
Is my life busy? Yes, it is, but that just means I tweak more to make it work. I would love to help you as well to find what works for you.
I look forward to encouraging you to be your best!
